Sanitization is the key requisite in the times of the Covid pandemic. Under the ‘WESA’ project supported by Fullerton India Credit Company Limited (FICCL), women from Fullerton Gramshakti Centres of Ognaj and Kathwada in Gujarat were trained as Sanitation and Hygiene Entrepreneurs to combat the given situation and subsequently harness livelihood opportunities from it.
“I Veena, a native of Nagpur, Maharashtra, have been married since 5 years and am a mother of two children (a son and a daughter). I heard about the WESA Training programme to be held at AWAG with the support of Fullerton and enrolled myself for it. The training programme provided us with knowledge and skills to work as sanitization agents. We were also provided with a sanitization kit.
